Reopened in 2007
Following an extensive renovation and Heritage Lottery Funding, the venue was officially reopened by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal in 2007. Today, it has thousands of documents illustrating the history of British motoring, from the late Victorian period to the 21st Century, and is carefully restored and maintained by several talented Restoration Technicians. Of the 300 vehicles preserved here, you can observe more than half of them in the superb exhibition hall.
