"Had a fantastic stay at Brandlehow. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views over Derwentwater and direct access to the lake. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing family break. We especially loved spending time in the garden taking in the incredible scenery. "Lovely hotel but not having air conditioning during the hot summer months is not great. Also for a high end hotel you would think they would have decent fans. Not a £30 thing from Argos."

10/10 Excellent
"Having stayed at Cosy Cottage previous we knew what to expect. There is a lovely traffic free walk into Keswick and access to many walks from the doorstep. The beds at Cosy Cottage are extremely comfortable. Whilst there was a problem with the oven this was dealt with to my satisfaction. The staff members I spoke to were friendly and helpful. Rearrangement of the furniture in the lounge area and use of the foot stools and throws led to cosy evenings in front of the fire."
