It’s a beautiful Victorian property. There are two buildings next to each other, the original hotel, built to accommodate original train travelers in 1869 and the converted train depot/office next door which has 8
huge rooms. The buildings are historic and unique. The staff were all very pleasant and professional. The food was good and the location is possibly best because it’s just a short walk less than 1/2 mile to the heart of Keswick so it’s close to everything but wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
I stayed in the converted train offices. The fixtures are old but everything worked just fine.
