It was unique that it is really just a restaurant with a couple of rooms next door.

Friendly staff , Good Bar selection , great food , and veiws where fantastic.
the only thing that wasn't great would have been the shower pressure alittle more than a drip
Overall we had a very nice weekend thank you
Amazing little hotel and restaurant. Great personal atmosphere and we were well looked after. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing and received great service.
Amazing views across some beautiful countryside!
We booked this as we needed somewhere close to family and wanted a night away four months after lockdown. The team were very welcoming and very clear about what they put in place. We even went into the one way garden and had a pint and some chips. They have an outdoor bar and the menu looked good but we didn’t have a full meal. The room was lovely and in such a quirky and unique building with fantastic views. It was very clean and there was extra sanitiser and soaps available. They had put a continental breakfast in a mini fridge in the room and there was a coffee and tea maker. We simply left our key in the room in check out and I sent them a message to say so.
We were down visiting family in the area and it was a ideal location.
The room was at the bottom of the tower, so only small but very comfortable.the tea/coffee and continental breakfast was excellent,
Our evening dinner was also excellent along with Sara our host in the main building, the restaurant with the large glass windows over looking the battlefield of 1642,
Highly recommend
