It's a remarkable fact that Bicester Village is visited by over six million people every year, with 10,000 coaches bringing them in. Why do they come? For the excellent shopping mostly, although Bicester and the surrounding region has other attractions too. In 2015 a new station was built here, the first in more than a century to link London with another United Kingdom city. Many wealthier visitors actually arrive by helicopter in a field just outside the village.
