It was nice to walk into an air conditioned lobby. No idea why the rooms weren't air conditioned too though. It was unbearably stuffy in a tiny room for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids). We did have a lovely view from the window of a brick wall just inches from the glass though... The reception staff were the worst thing though. They didn't ever answer the phone, and when I walked all the way there I found the girl chatting on her mobile. This meant we didn't get a taxi in time (they told us not to pre-order as it would only take 2-3 minutes - It took half an hour) and arrived at my brothers funeral after it had started. Making a stressful day a million times worse. Also, there were polo's under the bed gathering mold, and the shower had a layer of scum on the bottom. The swimming pool is tiny and you can only book a half hour slot. Which is ridiculous, because by the time you've got the children in there, it's basically time to get them out again. It's not long enough, it should be an hour at least. There was no hot breakfast, just a continental, which the children refused to touch (it's not kid friendly food.) In the evening we ate under cooked pizza served by bar staff who refused to look up most of the time, so you couldn't ask for anything extra. All in all, a truly awful stay, and no one even asked us if we had enjoyed it... I can't imagine why...

Not child/family orientated. Red mould on shower head. Slow restaurant service although they did try to accommodate us. Having to pay extra for parking was a surprise!

FORMAL COMPLAINT We didn’t like anything. On driving into their car park we saw that bins outside the reception were overflowing with rubbish of all kinds. On checking in we were told it was £16 extra charge to pay for their car park for our 3 days stay. We were told at reception that as we were staying 3 nights, there would be no service of the room. No one even emptied the bins! In our ‘Superior’ room, that we had booked at an over inflated price, there was no safe, no alarm clock. Just one tiny shower gel, one tiny shampoo/conditioner, one toilet roll and 2 towels. There were two of us adults occupying the room. There was nothing ‘superior’ about it. And the carpet was dirty and covered in ugly stains. The kettle tray was filthy, as was the shower. So we had to publicly humiliate ourselves in reception to ask for toilet rolls and other necessities - basically we had to serve ourselves, using reception staff. The evening meals weren’t up to scratch either, eg The ‘Beef Chilli Con Carne’ had next to no beef in it and certainly wasn’t worth the price charged. The Costa food was vile. We ordered Bacon baps, which were small and full of bacon fat - revolting and again well over priced for what you got Overall, the place is overpriced and the service, where there is any, is poor. Hygiene problems are an issue. When we asked for hand soap and hand towels (HUMILIATING) at the reception desk, we were told they didn’t have any! We are requesting a FULL REFUND

Recently stayed here for 2 nights and was very pleased. Very welcoming, with a very good on-site gym and swimming pool (you have to book a slot for the pool due to COVID). Room and bathroom was very clean! Only downside was breakfast, as current times the restaurant is closed so you get a small bag delivered to your room each morning. Would stay again and recommend!
