"Many thanks to Royalton Riviera Cancun for the wonderful hospitality and unforgettable experience. Every detail was beyond our expectations, and the memories will stay with us forever. A special thank you to our Expedia guide, Victor/Yeal Cobà, for the outstanding service and support throughout our stay. Victor helped us a lot by arranging different restaurant reservations each day exactly as per our requests, which made our vacation even more special. Our stay at Royalton Riviera was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed every moment and experienced some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff we have ever met. The food was delicious, the chefs were incredibly kind, and all the restaurants were very clean and well maintained. The entire resort is designed wonderfully, with amazing night activities and entertainment every single day. The water activities were also fabulous and added so much fun to our trip. Overall, it was a perfect vacation experience, and we would highly recommend Royalton Riviera Cancun to anyone visiting Cancun. Just need to improve Check-in and Check-out process. Thank you once again for making our trip so memorable!"

"Honestly 10/10, the room, the service, the food, and the spa were all amazing! Huge shout out to Kevin who checked us in, Karen, our dinner receptionist, and Hugo our waiter. "Staff was amazing like ABSOLUTELY amazing , food was amazing in every restaurant, so many activities to do. The only thing me and my gf didn’t like so much was the fact that we had to ask them multiple times to clean our room and give us extra towels, slippers, water, or change the bed sheets. Otherwise, everything was so perfect especially the restaurants and the buffet ( it had a lot of variety of foods and very clean)"

"No, JUST NO! We went the Preferred Club route…Room smelled like MOLD, A/C wouldn’t cool to our comfort level, no jacuzzi on patio instead it’s a bathtub with jets big enough for two very small people. Was told they had Crown Royal when in fact they don’t, food was meh, Fire show was VERY DEMONIC & many got up to leave because it was so obvious. Restaurants aren’t open every night. They completely botched our friend’s wedding. We were bribed with a $600 massage package to go “tour their newest resort 10mins away for free breakfast & a 90min presentation”. Resort was 30ish mins away, breakfast was great but they kept us there 4hrs! Trying to sell us vacations for $500k for 50yrs. Even after I said no we aten’t interested they sent 3more people over to reduce the price to get us to buy it. Finally my husband had to stand up & be a lil more aggressive to demand they take us back to our hotel. We left an hour later. Half the tv’s in the gaming pod area for teens didn’t work. Pd $23 or 3 small RedBulls in shop. Everything was TRIPLE the price at the resort if you wanted to buy anything. Our 1st & LAST All-Inclusive. Definitely not worth the money. It was boring & nothing to do on resort that was remotely fun. They list activities but we never saw them anywhere. If we weren’t there for a friends wedding we would have left & found an Air B&B. Oh the excursions offered thru the hotel WAY OVERPRICED. I can honestly say it was the worst experience! Wasted $5k"

"We did enjoy the staff, the people working at the resort very kind. The resort however, was not great. The food was horrible. Every restaurant had issues. Some restaurants had a sewage type smell when you first walk in. The wait for food at the restaurants 40 minutes minimum. The restaurants were out of food in the food that did come out was tough parentheses steak, and just not good. The staff gave us a bottle of wine and a dessert as a apology for how the property have been letting us down, and ants got into the room and ate the cake. I have pictures. We will not be returning. We were very hopeful because of the renovations that took place earlier in the year, but there were so many things broken at this resort. The elevators are broken. The escalators were broken. The pools were dirty, they had actual trash in the pools. Also, there was really no reliable way to get to the hotel zone from the resort. I didn’t realize how far the resort was from everything else."

"If you’re looking for a quiet, mature and small resort to relax and unwind, this is your place. It’s a small intimate resort that has great food and service. The staff was accommodating and the overall ascetics were beautiful. Only downside, there was no entertainment. Other than that, this place was a great place to stay "
