A great little house very close to Liberty Stadium. Corner shop seconds away. Local Italian restaurant, Frankie & Benny's, Harvester very close too. Rooms clean and modern. Beds very comfortable with fresh white linen. No parking with property but parked cross the road easily. Kitchen has just enough ...
The bathroom door jammed and was on ground floor ( not on 1st floor near bedrooms) , a lot of cracked mugs , and floor was dipped at entrance so was bit of a trip hazard. Very clean and tidy though, shame about negatives as was close to Liberty Stadium and so great location
Stayed for 2 nights and used as a base for Swansea area. Great location and nice and quiet which is what we needed. Had everything we needed and lovely clean, new feel too. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Liberty Stadium is the modern home of two top-class Welsh sports teams, as well as a premier conference and events arena hosting some of the biggest names in rock and pop music.
Opened in 2005, Liberty Stadium has earned a reputation as one of the best venues in Wales for major sporting events, music concerts and business conferences. Despite its young age the stadium has already laid claim to its part in history after becoming the first in Wales to host a Premier League football match, thanks to the promotion of Swansea City FC.
The stadium, overlooked by Kilvey Hill and situated on the bank of the River Tawe, is also the home of professional rugby team Ospreys, one of the most successful in the history of Welsh rugby. The club play in the Pro12, one of Europe's three major rugby leagues.
Among the bands and solo artists to perform at Liberty Stadium are The Who, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Kings of Leon.
Visitors are welcomed to Liberty Stadium whether or not there is a major event being held, with guided tours available at specific dates throughout the year. The tour includes a look behind the scenes, with a sneak peak at the changing rooms and players’ tunnel where many of the most famous names in Welsh sport have prepared themselves for action.
Liberty Stadium is an easy five-minute drive or bus ride from the centre of Swansea, via the B4603, and is just six miles from the M4 motorway connecting the city to Cardiff, Bristol and London.
