Staff looked after us really well.Great atmosphere.
Well for the price we paid it was brilliant, staff were really friendly. The place was clean and tidy. Only thing was the room I was in had another door which I assume was another room, and walls must be thin because you could hear them next door. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and would ...
Lovely little place, was just passing through, room was small but clean and comfortable, staff were friendly didn't try the breakfast option, room was very well priced and perfect for my needs
Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel rooms are clean and well presented, breakfast is superb and the main menu has plenty of choice. Only gripe - which seems to be the same for most hotels these days is that the bar prices are unnecessarily expensive.
If there’s one thing the Welsh really love, it’s sport. From rugby union and rugby league to football and bowls, most towns in Wales support their local teams with a passion. If you’re planning a trip to Llanelli on the South Wales Coast, taking in a rugby union match at the local ground will be a highlight of your trip. Modern, easy to get to and packed full of atmosphere, the Parc y Scarlets is a must-see for all holidaymakers staying at hotels in Llanelli.
Opened in 2008 as the new home for the Scarlets rugby union team and Llanelli RFC, the Parc y Scarlets is a state of the art stadium with a variety of modern features.
Boasting a good range of match day facilities as well as a training pitch and training barn, the ground is a fantastic amenity for Llanelli and an asset to the local community.
As well as local rugby league and rugby union matches, the Parc y Scarlets has played host to a number of Welsh national football team matches and Swansea City reserve team games.
Thanks to the number of matches held at the ground, it should be easy for holidaymakers staying at hotels in Llanelli to take in a game or two during their stay.
As the Parc y Scarlets is close to the centre of Llanelli, all of the town’s attractions are within easy reach of the hotels in the area.
From the Llanelli Wetlands Centre to the Parc Howard Museum and Kidwelly Castle to the beautiful Millennium Coastal Path, visitors staying at hotels near the Parc y Scarlets will find plenty to keep them busy after the final whistle blows.
Holidaymakers with their own transportation have an even wider choice of attractions to choose from, with the National Botanic Garden of Wales just 17 miles from the town and several castles and historic attractions within a 30-minute drive of Llanelli.
As the Parc y Scarlets is just outside Llanelli town centre, all of the hotels in the town are within easy reach of the ground. If you want to walk home after the match, choose a hotel to the west of the town centre, towards the River Loughor.
As well as being in the perfect spot for sports enthusiasts, these hotels are close to the main road heading out of town, ideal for holidaymakers who want to explore Swansea and the surrounding area by car.
If you want to experience a bit of authentic Welsh culture and see what life is really like in South Wales, booking a ticket for a match at the Parc y Scarlets is a great way to do it.
With a vibrant atmosphere, central location and full programme of events, the ground is a must-see during your stay in beautiful South Wales.
