"The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing."
"Easy to follow directions regarding checkin-check out. My room (2b) was large, with a big bed, and couch at the foot of the bed facing a TV and the floor to ceiling window. There was also a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bath. Everything worked and was clean. I think good value. The location was perfect, with walkable restaurants and bars close by. "
"The bedrooms are very spacious and bathroom was luxurious. It is very close to the arena and was perfect for my son's graduation as it is walking distance to everything. The breakfast was good too. There was ac which is a must for muggy weather"
Spacious, Stylish House - 500 yards to the sea front
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for 5 nights during my daughter's graduation from Swansea University. The property is really well set up with every amenity you would need. It was spotlessly clean. Location in Mumbles is terrific with a short walk to the center of town, be aware that like manyseaside locations the return walk in up a hill. There is a local taxi stand / Ubers should anyone not wish to walk back. Our host was simply wonderful, great communication and very accommodating. Thank you "
"Spacious clean rooms and very friendly staff what else would one need?
Washrooms could use a vanity upgrade and maybe hooks for towels but otherwise fabulous hotel. "
"I've stayed at this hotel many times and this was my fourth visit this year, facilities are superb, beach and marina within touching distance, city centre just a few minutes walk away, great location for the Mumbles and all the beaches in the Gower."
"My boyfriend and I came here for one a night stay. We stayed in a standard beach view room and it could not have been better. Gorgeous view of the beach from our window, very clean room, excellent facilities, comfy bed, friendly owner. We felt very comfortable here and it was perfect for our trip. Amazing for the price too. Only very slight complaint is that it’s was quite noisy being on a main road but other than that it was perfect. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back if I’m ever in Swansea again "

Oystermouth Castle occupies a particularly atmospheric vantage point, on a tall limestone ridge that enjoys sweeping views out over Swansea Bay. Built of Norman stone during the 12th Century, it sadly fell into disuse and disrepair from the Middle Ages onward, after a turbulent history, and in paintings it was often portrayed as a romantic ruin, pleasant to look at, but of little interest besides. Now all of that has changed.

Once a favoured haunt of Dylan Thomas, this iconic attraction in the village of Mumbles now plays host to tourists and locals out to enjoy themselves.
