"Good location for theatres "
We could not fault Kingsway Hall. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable so overall we had a very pleasant stay there. Unlike some hotels we have stayed in noise was not a problem. Would fully recommend this hotel for couples on a weekend theatre break.

"review."
My partner and I stayed for 6 nights in January. Initially we were put in a room with no sunlight (the window butted up to the elevator) and was the first ever hotel room I've seen without a fridge at all. Ice was not even available on our floor so no options to keep a drink cool in our room. Expedia sent an email requesting our experience on checking in to the hotel and I provided the feedback above, on the night we arrived. On about day 3 we received a call from reception who organised us to switch rooms to one with a window which actually faced outside and which had a fridge, and a microwave. So they did fix their shortcomings and everything else was fine. Great location with several nice pubs (the ship tavern to name one), cafes, and sites nearby (the park, the Soanes museum & the Huntariam museum all recommended and right on your door step). Coupled with easy access to conveniences like the tube, a boots store, pret, and other essentials, our stay in London was most enjoyable even in the dead of winter!

"Close Call but Overall Pretty Good Hotel"
No wake up call received on the morning I was supposed to head out to the airport. Had to rush and fortunately made it to the gate on-time, but barely. I didn't have time to eat breakfast and requested a refund for the prepaid breakfast buffet fee and was accommodated. The front desk clerk received a call while taking care of me from another guest who didn't receive a wake up call and missed a meeting. These things happen I suppose but shouldn't in such a large property.

"Very good location"
Great location. Stay in "grand" part of hotel instead of "club". It seems newer with higher ceilings. Feels bigger although front desk said square footage the same. Front desk staff upon arrival could have been more friendly. Our check in was very generic with no "welcome to London". Staff got better as week went on and we were offered a map on last day. Nice restaurant in house. Waitress super nice to and friendly. Would stay again due to location but don't expect staff to go out of way or to be extra friendly

"very kind helpful staff"
This was a special visit I'd got for my son, I phoned ahead and told the staff and they were so kind and helpful. We had a bit of confusion over the payment which the staff were really efficient in helping me with. My son was greeted with a slice of birthday cake and happy birthday balloons and petals on his bed, it felt like the staff were going the extra mile to make sure the stay was special. There were other little touches too that made the stay extra special. We are so grateful to the staff for making the stay so amazing. The hotel itself is lovely - as soon as you step into reception it is as if you are in a different world compared to the noisy street outside, it is so plush and quiet and calm. The room also was lovely, well appointed, lovely coffee machine, and again, so quiet and peaceful, you could not hear anything from the street below. Although it is the most I've ever paid for a hotel room I felt it was worth every penny. I highly recommend it as a quiet calm hideaway in the centre of the west end. If you want to spoil yourself in London I think this would be the place.
