We enjoyed our stay at the Haymarket Hotel so much last year that we returned again this year. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and highly professional. The decor is stunning. The hotel has a lovely light colourful ambience about it giving it a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shows and dining out. But our favourite thing was going for a pre breakfast jog along the Mall, now that was really special.

The over the top high techness was so annoying we were using our iPhone's light to go to the toilet in the middle of the night as we couldn't get the lights to work and the TV on an electric swivel constantly moved to face away from our bed. Can't get a better location, near to Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Buckingham Palace...the hotel itself is immaculate, the double room was of a reasonable size, the bed so comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Shower was excellent, complimentary drinks on arrival and cookies and cranberry juice / water in the room. Downsides..not many, view was terrible and there was a slightly unusual smell in the room which you only really noticed first entering.
