Lutwidge Arms Limited
3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (92)
"We stayed on bank holiday weekend and it was dead. The bar/pub had 3 people in it, there was no background music or atmosphere so was just a little awkward. We moved into the dining room with the intention of having dinner but changed our minds after seeing the condition. The tables appeared to be dressed all differently, I couldn’t figure out if they’d been used by previous customers or not, just presented as untidy and unclean. We sat down on one table after finding 2 chairs with seats that...

The Bear on the Square
3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (19)
"I was very happy with my room! It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and l could hear the people next door talking as if they were in the same room, so even though the bed/bedding was very clean and comfortable l did not get any sleep, l could even hear a conversation someone was having on a phone. The property is advertised as a B&B but they do not do breakfasts. I would definitely stay again if the price was reduced slightly to accommodate not...

Emiko was a lovely lady . She let us book in a bit earlier. She went out of her way for anything that you would need. We would definately go back for a return visit."

Brockwood Hall
3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (13)
"We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. Floor to ceiling Windows and and a gabled roof gave stunning views down the valley to the estuary from both floors. The accommodation was modern and stylish and even had its own sauna. The onsite pool was free to use and warm and clean, a good size. Slight hiccup at check in was sorted out well and we were allowed to stay an extra night in...

"Initial impressions weren’t good-outside the caravan was scruffy with an old dog lead lying around and uncut grass around the door. However the caravan itself was clean and very comfortable. There was a smell of gas outside as well from the canisters but we contacted the owner who very promptly got someone to sort the problem. The caravan also needs a plug in the kitchen sink and a new light in the shower room. Overall I would say the caravan is comfy but needs some TLC."

Sea View Cottage Lake District Coast, Haverigg
3.5 star property

"Location and a comfy bed and lovely bath were the only redeeming features of this house. Lots of damp throughout which you can smell straight away also see. There was a large area on the stairs where wallpaper was missing. The twin room smelled strongly of urine which I feel came from the carpets. The view from the back not the best so don’t look too much. There were cobwebs in main bedroom by the wardrobe to the wall also large cracks and paper coming off. This property has no curb appeal at...
