THE PROPERTY WAS DIRTY ,BEDCOVER WAS JUST FLUNG ON THE BED, SOMEONE HAD USED THE TOILET WHILST WE WERE OUT AND NOT FLUSHED THE CHAIN, THE BREAKFAST WAS BASIC AND BLAND NOT MUCH CHOICE ,OUT DATED HOTEL NEEDS A GOOD MAKE OVER , A LOT OF GUESTS WHILST WE WERE THERE WERE COMPLAINING , FOR WHAT YOU PAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY , THE STAFF ARE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL ,NEEDLESS TO SAY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE AND WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS FOR FREE

Lovely hotel, always smelt clean. Staff friendly. Good choice for breakfast for adults and children. Great location. Our kids swam 3 times! Shame the weather wasn’t kind or we would have played chess too

Lovely gardens but a tired hotel. Carpets need changing as they are threadbare in places. The toilet in my room had faeces in the toilet. The pool needed a good clean and the steps into it very slippery Breakfast had cheap bread, and powdered egg. I asked for a boiled or poached egg and was told that they had none available ( on both days). Staff were abrupt when on the second day our room key did not work. I asked for the master key but was told someone would be up. After 20 minutes I had to go back down 2 flights to ask if anyone was coming

The Manor Hotel should be called "Hotel for dogs". I understood that dogs were welcome, however to be staying were at least 10 big dogs were present, is not acceptable. There was evidence of dog hairs on stairs and corridors. Carpets were threadbare in some parts and my room small and cramped. I had book for 2 nights, but after one night, I could not envisage. yet another stay, because I am asthmatic. I explained my leaving early to the receptionist, she said checking with EXPEDIA was necessary to find out if I could be recompensed for the 2d night and she will revert to us. Since then, 7th of May, we had no contact/communication from the hotel. My experience of The Manor is not something I would like to repeat again, and I would go as far as to say, it is one of the worst hotels I ever had stayed
