"Really enjoyed this weekend away. We had a family room which had 2 singles and a double, it was a very large room with gorgeous high ceiling and window overlooking the road quiet location. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming. Enjoyed having access to the pool which the kids loved. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all hot which is sometimes missing in some venues. "Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍"

"The staff were friendly polite and very helpful, the hotel grounds were lovely and kept to a high standard, the dog day pen again was lovely although the gate floor catch was broken making the top catch difficult to open/close. We had a top floor room, where the shower runs by water pump if the temperature is above 25 the shower cuts out, we had to run it on cold until it built up enough pressure to turn temperature up, this took around 17 mins. "We stayed at the cottage house which is outside the main building. It was very spacious and has an indoor jacuzzi tub which is why we booked it. The hot water is pre-heated, so it was just enough to fill the tub. There won’t be hot water after if you wanted a shower. Also, an important downside for us was the wifi signal is so weak that neither our phone nor laptops could pick any signal. Was a bit disappointed in that regard as the hotel is aware of the problem but made no effort to fix it....
