Situated in the historical district, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Lake Windermere and World of Beatrix Potter. Bowness Pier and Old Laundry Theatre are also within 10 minutes.
This was our second stay at Burn How and we were able to park our car just outside the courtyard room. The room was comfortable and two double beds. The staff were friendly and adhered to the Covid guidance. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Lake and Bowness, and there are plenty of walks from here.
The breakfast was excellent keeping in mind it was limited due to restrictions and only table service was allowed.
We will happily come back to Burn How for another holiday to Bowness.
We had a superior room which was very spacious & had a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden.
There award winning breakfast was excellent.
Drinks at the bar was a bit expensive but that’s typical of hotels
