"We had the most lovely stay at Royal Lancaster. A family of three, we had a great corner room that was very comfortable, both the main bed (especially) and even the twin- which usually these are not so comfortable. Everything was immaculate and the rooms were very convenient in closet and drawer/wardrobe space. Residential area which is nice and quiet , right across from Hyde Park. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, recommend to try it. It has many nice options, both healthy and indulgent. Doreen, the manager, is absolutely amazing. She is so warm and pleasant, and made our stay absolutely perfect. They gave us a nice welcome birthday amenity (mini cake) and fruit and had our room ready as quickly as possible. Everyone is lovely and the property is modern (bathroom is a bit smaller but nice) and clean, and overall just wonderful. The automatic day and night shades also helped for these long summer days. I would highly recommend it for all ages. It is not in the middle of the bustling areas which we liked. But, you can still walk to things (probably about 20-25 min to Marble Arch etc) and take a taxi. 5 stars! "

"The staff at this hotel was so friendly and helpful. They let us check in early and check out late to meet our flight needs. The hotel is undergoing renovations and will be amazing when they finish. Despite the current construction, the staff made the stay worth it. I also love this location in London. Nearby tube access makes any siteseeing close, but this neighborhood is quiet and chill. "

"Hotel us in an excellent location for exploring London as only a few minutes walk away from a tube station. Staff are friendly and helpful and always available. Our room was slightly dated but spotless and more than adequate for our stay. The air con was a welcome bonus! Breakfast was plentiful, hot and very tasty. This was my first visit to London but I'll definitely be back and will book here again, great value for money. Also such a bonus being directly opposite Hyde Park, lovely for a stroll in the evening. "

"Great location, comfortable sleep and reasonably priced! Cheap and cheerful. The only thing we would recommend is an upgrade on the bathroom facilities, the shower is very basic which is fine but there is no shower caddy to put any shower amenities which was a bit frustrating."
