"Nice hotel! Stayed 4 nights here in a newly refurbished room. Very clean and modern. They are doing construction on a big part of the hotel, so expect noise if you're around during the day time. In a good neighborhood, and lots of transport options within walking distance. Also good food and grocery marts near by. My only complaint is the shower. The bathroom is small, and only half the shower is covered so regardless of if you use the shower head or the handheld thing the entire floor ends up soaked!! "

"From reception staff to cleaning staff there is nothing we can fault! Room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious so much choice and again staff so welcoming and pleasant. Parking .. not applicable. Will highly recommend Thank you"

"This is an amazing hotel! It’s in a great location as well - right across from Kensington gardens and steps away from Lancaster gate underground. The Columbia is the perfect mix of modern and historic. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the bathroom/shower. It was not ideal, the plumbing is very old but what can you do. Otherwise our room was great. Comfortable beds, very clean, and friendly staff."

"This propery has no AC and no refrigerators. It was warm for March but we were comfortable with the fan, but I would NOT book in warmer months. The shower drained very slowly and never got hot. Front desk had maintenance come but the problem never really got fixed. Beda were comfortable. The breakfast buffet looked good though we never ate it. We were allowed to fill out water bottles daily at the buffet and were greeted with a smile from the attendant. The front desk staff was helpful. At the end of the day, you're using the room to recharge and wash off the day. This barely hit the mark for that. Although the location was terrific, there are other places that may be better suited for comfort."

"The breakfast was excellent but not included. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room felt cramped. There was not enough room between the bed and the closet and the wall on the other side. There were no washcloths or Kleenex. Upon request, we got a box of Kleenex, but no washcloths. There was no bathroom door."
