The positives, because they’re aren’t many. The room was clean, the receptionist was amiable. But it was a miserable stay. There was nothing in the room - nothing to stir a cup of coffee, no list of numbers for the internal phone, nothing to open a bottle with, no fridge if you plan on bringing any of your own refreshments. The single bed was too small for an adult. I had drunk people knocking on my door at 2:30am looking for their friend. When they found the room they wanted (next door to mine) they then spent the next two hours banging doors, running along the corridors, playing music from a phone and shouting at each other. Three of those people weren’t even guests. None of them were wearing face masks. Why aren’t the concierge monitoring who comes in? And why aren’t they following COVID protocol? Which leads me to my final point, the walls appear to be made of paper. I also had to contend with somebody above me using a hairdryer at midnight. I would have reported this to the 24hr front desk, but I didn’t have a number for them.
To top it off, they started cleaning adjacent rooms at 5am. I have no idea what that was all about. Worst nights *sleep* ever. Spend a little more and go somewhere peaceful
