The staff were lovely. As it was our anniversary, we were given a beautiful room overlooking the water tower and the lake. The room was exceptional - the bath tub, huge! The hotel itself was within walking distance to almost everywhere - the lake, the river, the magnificent mile. There were cafes and restaurants very close by. We had a fantastic time in Chicago because of this!

When we arrived the staff were amazing and not having to tip was good until we worked out how much and when, Waldorf doesn’t do tipping! The spa staff and restaurant staff were friendly and relaxed and very knowledgeable, however after four days the sheen faded, the spa’s jacuzzi not working whilst we were there both in men’s and ladies, spa closed for “work” on our last three days, no reduction or compensation, no lounge to relax in as rooms have no easy chairs and my partner and I wanted to...
