"Nice hotel in a wonderful Chicago location"
We traveled here in February of 2017. The room was spacious - although I have stayed at some Hyatt Place properties that were much larger - for downtown Chicago, the room was nice. Beds comfy, very clean, and friendly front desk staff at check-in and check-out.
The breakfast was nice (and free) - toast, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit, cereals, juices, coffee.
Wifi worked well for us, even streaming Youtube videos (my teenagers). Wifi is free, too.
The only thing that really didn't bother us, but I know can be an issue for some is, there is a Fire Station across the street from the hotel; street noise and an occasional firetruck was easily heard in the room (we were on the 16th floor). The hotel does provide earplugs on the nightstand (because this is a hotel in the middle of a city). Again, the noise didn't bother us, but it might bother some.
The window has two different "shades", one that lets a little light through and a second that was superior in blocking out light.
There is a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave.
All in all, we enjoyed the location of this hotel, and would stay here again.
