The gym and spa that is connected to the hotel is first-rate, and a wonderful amenity for those, who like myself, appreciate a good workout as well as relaxation in the sauna/steam room/whirl pool. Also their breakfast buffet is great.

This was our first time staying at the Sanderson. The check-in staff were very helpful and moved us to a quiet room. The room itself was tired and had a few issues. The hairdryer was broken and needed to be replaced, and the light in the toilet kept flickering on and off. The rug in the room was also dirty and in need of a thorough clean. The location, however, was very convenient for us. It's just a shame that the hotel did not live up to our expectations.

Great property close to the train station that is connected to the ExCel center (trains, not the hotel). The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and the staff goes above and beyond! My room was large with a huge window seat where I could relax, get work done or just read a book while enjoying the view. The king sized bed was large and comfortable with high end sheets and pillows. The bathroom was huge and had a shower, separate tub, and great lighting. There were robes slippers and nice toiletries. Evening ice delivered to the rooms was a nice touch. The restaurant was excellent, not a huge menu but I think it is better to have few excellent dishes rather than a lot of mediocre ones. Try the salted caramel ice cream for dessert. Sounds simple but was so good I ended ep getting it for room service each night. The hotel is sophisticated, elegant, and situated with views of the river. Incredible views of the river really. Would be a great hotel for corporate meetings. I felt pampered and would absolutely stay here again if going to the Excel center or anywhere nearby.

This was a last minute booking as a flat we had booked for our 5 night stay in London turned out to be Horrible. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had with our room 607 was the bottom of the shower door was missing the rubber to keep water from leaking out. There would be a puddle of water on the floor. Nothing a towel can't clean up. We made the hotel aware of this. Location was great. Tower Hill tube stop a few minute walk away. Short walk to Tower of London and the Hop on Hop off bus stop. Great restaurants/pubs in the area.

A very well appointed hotel. Good room size, lighting, cooling and cleanliness. I liked the little things like coffee machine, plenty of milk, sugar and bathroom extras. A fridge provided and good quality glasses. Breakfast and dinner very good. I am very well travelled and this was one of the best. Good value.
