Check-in was very disappointing. My room was supposed to be ready by 2 pm, but at 3 pm, it still wasn't prepared. They offered me an upgrade, but they requested an extra payment.

The location to Westfield is a plus, nice bar and friendly staff. I was on floor 7 and it was very hot weather. Aircon was not good, they brought me a fan. Room small due to sloped ceiling with blinds that had to be shut due to heat. No stop out the front so need to walk bags up the street.
Bed comfy and clean linen, shower needs a good clean in grate so smelt very mouldy. A fair stay for a discount price

Great location for the price. Nice comfortable and spacious rooms. There is no air conditioning so hot days could get difficult.
There is one fan provided in a room of triple occupancy and that isn’t enough.
But very connected and good location.

Unfortunately my spouse tripped on the stairs coming from the restaurant to the main floor. Staff were quick to ice her foot and provide some crutches. We were there another 3 days and no management bothered to enquire how she was doing. Subsequently we continued on a planned cruise and she still can't put her weight on the foot (12 days later). Just disappointed the staff showed no interest in our situation following the initial fall.

"I was told by both of my taxi drivers that this was a bad area to stay in. The room was nice. Breakfast was good. I like that you have to swipe your room card on the ground floor to get the elevator to open. That extra security made me feel good."
