(1,831 reviews) Fantastic stay! The beach was beautiful and well maintained, food was delicious, rooms are ample and super clean. We had previously stayed at Royal Haciendas in 2023 and did not have a great experience - we thought we would give this place another try and have nothing but great things to say about our stay in 2026\. Once of our guests experienced an injury while at the resort and I can not highly recommend the Dr. on site enough - he is very thorough and genuinley cares about his patients. Hotel management went above and beyond during our stay. Also - would like to give recognition to a few staff members who made our stay extra special. Our kids loved the kids club and Danna, Diana, Kitzia, and Geo made their week. Alejandro at Kinoko restaurant provided great service all week long as well! If you are looking for peace, privacy, decent à la carte food (no buffet), and wonderful, attentive staff, then this hotel is definitely for you. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by lush greenery. You literally live in the middle of the jungle — among palm trees, vines, and many interesting animals that do not disturb you at all, so there is no need to be afraid. Yes, there is a pond with crocodiles on the property, but during our 10-day stay we saw a crocodile only once. Rather than being a downside, it adds a sense of exotic adventure and variety to the experience. As for the downsides: if you have mobility issues, a disability, or are traveling with elderly people, you should carefully consider whether this hotel is suitable for you. The hotel is not equipped with ramps. To access one of the restaurants for dinner, you must climb three flights of stairs — there is no elevator or alternative access. The restaurant is located on the second floor. The same applies to access to the beach and the swimming pool, both of which require using stairs. This was quite challenging for my husband (who uses a walker) and for my elderly parents. That said, the staff are very kind and helpful and will assist whenever possible. (1,000 reviews) Hotel was amazing. Very clean. Beautiful walking paths throughout the hotel. Very family friendly if you have kids. Manuels house keeping was spot on every day. Breakfast wasn’t as good as lunch or dinner options. Drinks weren’t anything special but that’s expected at an all inclusive. I do wish better quality beer was offered. Very limited with their options. Very easy beach access with nice calm waters. Most of the staff members were welcoming and kind. Jean, Issac, Guadalupe, Israel, were some of the nicest people we encountered. Unfortunately we did have an inconvenience with one particular staff member that made us feel discriminated against. It almost came of as favoritism and racist towards us. That’s another thing that I noticed with certain staff members that if you spoke Spanish or were a Mexican American like us we didn’t receive the same attention or service.
