We had a superior room which, although small, was clean and had everything we needed. The only minor issues we had was working out how to turn on the bedside lamps and bizarrely how to turn on the tap in the bathroom! Overall I would recommend the hotel and would also stay again if in the area."
"We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations."

"We spent a week of July at this property and were blown away by the beauty of the location. The cottage is very pretty with the kitchen and living room upstairs to take advantage of the views. Georgie, our host was excellent, replying to messages in super quick time, introducing herself to us in person but never intruding. We can’t recommend this property highly enough and have already booked our next stay. "
"We had a lovely stay!!!! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with all.the amenities and added extras you could wish for!! The pub itself was lovely - clean with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Two nice outdoor seating areas, and the beer garden itself was fully enclosed - great for dogs and kids. Hotel and pub were dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot and cold offerings! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!"
