The location was perfect, very centralized. The staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. My only (not really) complaint was that their sister hotel is about a block away, also called Apex. Caused confusion with drivers more than once. Would highly recommend.
Weekend breakfast from 7 AM I needed to leave at 6:30, and was provided with few croissants and coffee
Everything was absolutely perfect. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Amazing rooms. I highly recommend it.
It was just a few doors off of the High Street (Royal Mile), and close to the castle.
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, very close to major old town and Edinburgh Castle, what else we need to get more!
The property was in a great location within walking distance to the castle and other attractions.
Close to transport and shops and many tourist attractions.
We enjoyed our two nights in Edinburgh at the MacDonald. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a little out of the way, but still within walking distance of city centre and the train station. Best is its close proximity to the trails up to Aurthurs seat.
Location , beautiful room, good restaurant guest laundry facilities
