"The place to use as your base whilst in this beautiful City. Close to everything, The Old Town,Royal Mile ,Castle,then across Waverley Bridge to Princes Street .Absolute must if your on a budget,and are planning to be our every day. 4 bed dorm,clean ,shower,toilet facilities. When you check out ,storage for your luggage if like me your train is leaving in the afternoon. 2nd time using here...will always use here. Christmas next I think."

"Great location, friendly staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for our visit to the Fringe and our favourite place, the Grassmarket was two minutes away. The room was rather warm but opening the window onto the main street brought in a fair bit of noise. The shower/toilet rooms were clean. However, the shower was fixed with no scope for movement, and the spray went right over me, without really getting me wet (I'm 5'1" tall or should I say short)."
