"Excellent hotel with everything you need within walking distance. Parking is about 3 blocks away at Waverley Ststion car park. If you want to get to the Royal mile there are a lot of steps or you can always take an uber for a few pounds. The luxury of the hotel far outweighed walking up the steps. "

"I was on holiday in Edinburgh for the first time. My trip was for eight days and I was staying at Hotel Indigo (York Place) for most of my trip. The hotel staff was very polite, professional and helpful. The hotel was very clean and was located in an are with access to many local restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Nice hotel that offers the amenities of an airbnb. Staff was very friendly. Good location, with a lot of restaurant options right outside the hotel and we were able to walk pretty much anywhere in 15 minutes. We were in a studio, which fit our needs perfectly, which still offers a kitchenette and washer/dryer. The windows do not open up very much, so its hard to get good airflow. They do put a floor fan in the room, but we were still a little on the warm side in early June. We would definitely return. "
