"Well situated "
Very friendly reception staff booking quick and efficient The hotel has a- ultra modern decor black on red fine if you like this kind of thing. Rooms are truly microscopic double bed 1 ft down either side and at the bottom and the room is full. Bathroom is just big enough. No wardrobes or drawers Is a fine hotel for 1/2 night after that you would begin to get a fed up with the lack of room, however for the money it is spotlessly clean and is a good place to stay for a very short trip.

We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us all the information we needed. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We were central to everything with easy access to bus service. I would not hesitate to book here again for our next visit.

"Great little boutique hotel."
Lovely rooms with all the facilities, great shower, comfy beds, stylish surroundings. There is road noise which we got used to but light sleepers will need to ask for a room at the back. It's a 30 minute walk into town but buses go past the door every 10 mins which we used all the time & it's great to look out of the bus & see the City. Stay are very helpful & couldn't do enough with a special mention to Elena (hope I've got the name correct!) Will definitely be back & have recommended to lots of people.

"Old-fashioned hotel with all modern requirements"
In the centre of Edinburgh but in a quiet neighbourhood , this hotel offers very friendly staff with good local knowledge. It is the public side of an old fashioned club (which is still going strong) but has been thoroughly modernised. The staff are accommodating and knowledgable, the bar offers excellent service and the restaurant is well worth a visit.

"Definitely the place to be"
We clearly got an upgrade. We stayed in the Robert Louis Stevenson room. It was a suite complete with treasure, parrot and palm tree. The room had everything you need plus a bit extra. There was an in room library inside the trunk in the corner. The bathroom was amazing, complete with huge bath and double shower. The bar is relaxing and the breakfast was excellent.
