The location of this hotel was perfect for walking distance to many of the Edinburgh sites. It was easy to get to from the airport by taking the tram. The only thing I would have liked was a bigger room and view that wasn't overlooking the heating units and rooftops of other buildings. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was delightful, and I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and the luggage stow much appreciated. The room was small but bed comfortable. Great central location so it was easy to get around. Minor complaint- the lower lobby area often smelled of cigarette smoke. The breakfast buffet was good but the replenishment of popular items was slow or inadequate. Overall, we had a great stay!

This was a great hotel and walkable from the Waverly Train Station. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. But the best part was the hotel restaurant! We ate breakfast there every morning and even had supper at this restaurant TWICE! Who eats at the same place twice when in Edinburgh?? But the food was so delicious. Try their fried calamari! Plus while sitting at the restaurant you get a view of The Edinburgh Castle in one direction and the Scott Monument in the other. We really loved this hotel.

Hotel is in a Great location. Very good breakfast. Very accommodating and super friendly staff. Hotel is very nice and clean. It rains a lot in Edinburgh so it was very nice to be in a hotel that has washer and dryer, specially the dryer to dry our soak clothes after long rainy walks! My family and I had a good experience!

The restaurant was under refurbishment so we weren't able to try a full breakfast, but they offered pastries and coffee, which my brother enjoyed. Property was in a great central location and the newly opened restaurant offered a lovely breakfast with an amazing view. The rooms were small and beds were not the most comfortable but we still had a good stay.
