The hotel is in a quiet, mostly residential area and has good dining facilities. The building is beautiful although the room is very small. Parking is limited. Bus stops right outside provide easy transportation into the city.
Stayed here 2 nights and it's a fantastic location for getting into the city centre. There's free parking and the bus stop is right outside. Tried the restaurant and the food was better than expected for a holiday inn. We were on the 6th floor (top) and had lovely views - if u ask for a room at the front they will b even better as u will have a panorama of Edinburgh City and right out over the forth!
Only downside was no free wifi!
B&B was very nice, easy to find, close to bus routes and only 20mins walk to murrayfield. Room was spacious and clean, shower was brilliant. Of course this a b&b so room layout was a challenge when getting ready I.e plugs close to mirrors for hair/make up
We only used the room for a sleep and shower in the morn so thought what I paid was steep for that but it was one of the cheapest around

"Located near the rugby stadium. Can walk into city"
6 of us stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were all different and room 7 was enormous with a sitting room area as well as the bedroom. All the rooms are nicely decorated with different tartans. The breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked to order and our hosts were really helpful with advice of what to see and how. They recommended a restaurant just around the corner at the Hampton Hotel which served an excellent meal at a very good price, the prices were much better than where we live. Two rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £19.95 that not only tasted great but was cooked perfectly. We would all come back here again if we came to Edinburgh.

Fabulous little hotel for a weekend away exploring Edinburgh. Tidy rooms, nice staff and a cooked breakfast. All for a cheaper price per person than other more mainstream hotels with screaming kids and whatnot. The bathroom may have been a bit meh, but I would definitely stay again and reccomend to a friend :)
