It is run by two amazing gentlemen that pay so much attention to detail, it was hard to keep track of all they did for us. My adult son and I spent three days in Edinburgh and we stayed with Mike and Paul in their B&B. We had a very comfortable room, a bathroom attached and easy access to a shower downstairs as well. The house is amazing. It’s spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, mostly with Mike’s art. The breakfast is tailored, huge and very good. We had a lot of great conversations with the hosts and also got to meet some of their friends. They were very attentive to every detail and to our every need and always ready to give plenty of recommendations to enjoy our visit. The house is gorgeous, very stylish and displaying Michael’s very original and expressive paintings. The bedroom, being the smallest of the three in the house, was spacious enough, neat and stylish, very comfy bed, elegant and well equipped bathroom. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything in town. We have come several times to Edinburgh and we can say without a doubt the Crescent House is definitely the best b&b in this lovely city.
