Pleasant stay but disappointed with the selection on offer for continental breakfast option. No bread rolls available only sweet pastries. Meat and cheese selection only available if requested but very minimal selection served. The hotel only served smoked bacon with cooked breakfast. Not a preference for everyone.

Family of 4 with 2 boys staying in 2 bed apt , facilties were good with good local shopping and eating outlets (24hr Asda ) . Signs of wear on some of the settees and the paintwork on skirtings and walls could do with freshenning up but bed / showers were very good and full kitchen of appliances for self catering if required . View was excellent . Overall stay was good for short term , would definitely use again . They did take £100 deposit for damages and still havent checked to see if it has been re-imbursed as everything was left as found , could be 5 days later .
The service apartment is thoughtfully well maintained. My mother was in a wheelchair, and we were pleased about the accessibility features of the apartment we got. You are away from the city centre, but you are really a 13 minute bus ride from it, and the bus stop is right outside the apartment. You are also 14 minute walk from ASDA supermarket which is opened 24 hours. Far away from the city centre to be pleasant and quiet but close enough to get to what you want to see. We arrived outside reception office hour for check-in, but they emailed us the instruction on how to get the keys. This is a similar procedure to the other service apartment we stayed in Berlin, and it worked well, provided you let them know in advance.
This apartment suited us really well because we have two young children. The apartments have a good car park and are within easy reach off a bus stop with frequent buses taking you to Princess street, the quay or Hollyrood.

10 minute walk into the city centre not too expensive, very clean. If you want to be picky then there are a few minor bits but we only needed the room to sleep and shower and it was very comfortable and fulfilled our needs adequately. I would recommend if you fancy a short break in Edinburgh.
The hotel is beautiful, full of charm, and the staff is friendly. Our room didn't have a lot of space, but it had an updated bathroom and nice TV. It is on a fairly busy street but is surprisingly quiet inside. It's close to the buses and within walking distance of stores, restaurants, and groceries. And it's across the street from a large, lovely park.

My brother & I went in August to Edinburgh. We stayed at Edinburgh house for 3 nights. It's very nice and clean. Mirella, the host, is very nice and friendly. We felt like home at her guest house. Room was clean and beautiful. She gives you a menu for the breakfast to choose from, and she cooks for you. She really cares about her guests. Our flight was early in the morning so we had to leave at 6.00 a.m., and the night before, Mirella put a breakfast for us in our room which was very nice gesture of her. definitely recommending it for friend or family.
Once a seaport town, Leith was incorporated into Edinburgh in 1920 amidst controversy and maintains its own identity. Leith Walk connects the city with its primary port where the Water of Leith feeds into the Firth of Forth. Visitors can tour the Britannia, which for 44 years was the Royal Family’s private yacht. Golfers may want to stop at Leith Links where the rules of the game were devised in 1744.
