There is are lot of stairs, but also a lot of space which was very good for our famiy stay. The building does need some updates (ie carpet on stairs looks dingy, and there are banged up walls in the stairway is likely from lots of travellers). "The room was a part of the University of Edinburgh student building. It was a little cramped but big enough for the missus and I We had everything we needed for our stay We enjoyed staying here"

"This is an apartment and the staff are not on premises. The name on the building does not match the reservation name. Once we finally found the building check in was confusing as you had to call a number and the housekeeper met us. Nothing was explained. The balcony door would not open. The WiFi did not work. Bare minimum kitchen utensils and supplies. Apartment old and worn. Staff stopped answering our calls when we phoned for help and questions. The two bedrooms and bathrooms and living areas...

"Hotel situated very close to city center and accessible by bus. Close to University of Edinburgh, very convenient to shops and restaurants. Hotel is clean and quiet and great service. Small rooms but just what most people need. "
