Normally stay at the Balmoral but couldn't get a room at short notice, slightly disappointed till we arrived at the Chester Residence.... Balmoram is now our back up choice!
Positive experience - staff are great as is location. There are 2 issues for me - water / ac system is noisy - we got moved room as a result- and air conditioning system in room is complex to use....like many top hotels. Overall worth a visit though.
Lovely room in Stockbridge townhouse hotel away from busyness of main area. It was a little cold in my room but it was a night in the coldest week this year and I’m sure if I had said the staff would have done something. The stag’s head over my bed was a bit disturbing but that’s just me!
