"All the staff were excellent, extremely good service. The location is great, it's closed to most of the attraction in the city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel to those who are planning to go to Edinburgh."

"Location was excellent. Very close to Victoria street. Great access to the castle, royal mile and restaurants in Grassmarket. Room was just okay, the floor was so loud you could hear everyone walking by and if your partner went to the restroom. The shower had a small glass half door so water got all over the floor when taking a shower. The pool and sauna was a nice add. The room view I purchased didn’t look like the picture. Had very large windows and the room we had just had one smaller window, you could see the castle just not as pictured in the room we were given. You can’t control the temperature of the room so that was a downside. They provide a small fan but sometimes it got really hot. Didn’t eat at the hotel so no opinions of the options. "

"Staff friendly & helpful Hotel location great Short walk from Market Street exit from Waverley Station. Easy walk to Princess Street and a short walk to Royal Mile (although up hill). A few minor touch ups needed - bathroom door has some dents from room door hitting it and ketgle has to be moved to boik as sockets not near enough. Rm 701"
