"Overall a lovely stay. The staff is very helpful and the location is wonderful (can walk to the middle of town in one direction and Arthur's seat in the other). One point which was odd - the underside of the rubber mat for the bathtub had quite a bit of dark mold. I turned it in at the desk and it was replaced by one that had quite a bit of long black hair on the underside (they are in little zippered covers). I finally got a clean one, but yuck. Other than that - lovely stay, room otherwise clean - they just need to inspect all of those mats. The restaurant and room service were both quite good and it was a nice quiet and restful place. "

"This is a wonderful place, a bit old fashioned but harks back to the older age of comfort and quality. The room was comfortable, spacious and meticulous prepared. The staff were impeccable and the location is just a couple blocks back from Princess Street with good local restaurants, bars, shopping and sightseeing not far away. Recommended.
