The hotel was lovely in a good location with just a short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff was very helpful And gave us good advice on how to get places and what what buses to catch. The only down fall was the parking. It’s on the road parking via a parking meter. We got a space in the permit holders spot and was told we was fine until Monday morning found out Monday we would have to move the car because you can’t park in permits only. We decided to check out early as parking was impossible on the other side of the road. That is the only bad thing I can say about the hotel.

Quiet area

Paid for superior room. Got a standard room. Explanation from owner not acceptable. Towels didn’t look clean, curtains were threadbare and had huge holes in them. Photos aren’t a true representation. Breakfast is extra.

Booked in first, then read a reviews. And was no longer exited about our upcoming trip. . a day before arival someone called me to answer all my questions. We wew booking in late, so received instrucions by email on same day, about 3pm. All were very clear with pictures and maps. Free parking. Not sure if we were juat lucky, but we received very good room. It was in block 3 number 13. 4th floor. Apartment was in middle of private ones. Quaiet area. As we were with 18 month son, it was perfect for us. All was fine. Apartment views amazing. Good 2 beds, 2 baths. Wifi was fine. Nothing that i noticed broken. Few things that were not so good, carpet was stained in living room, and one heather was not fully working. After booking, I find out you must be 25 or older to check in. And received few notifications that this Apartment is not for parties. Ok, i got if from the forst time. And we had to pay £100 deposit. I mean what if i was 24 year old mother travelling with my son, i would not be able to stay? Maybe a suggestion to hotel would be to ignore this 25 year rule for travellers with kids. But, would come back to this place definitely.

Nice warm hotel with friendly staff. Ensuite very good standard. The top floor room unfortunately had plaster damage as the roof was getting repaired but this shouldn't deter me staying again . If staying on a Sunday morning you have to visit the Links community garden as there's a Sunday market great food and coffee. Come out the front of the hotel turn right and walk round the edge of the massive grass area and you will find it. Just a little more dusting and possibly a small amount of painting would give this a 10 out of 10 rating . Definitely staying again Good value for money

Lamps wouldn’t turn on , one socket you couldn’t even plug a plug into , shower kept going cold all the time , the tv wasn’t even working right , had to change my days because of work and they refused to give me a refund.
