"Good, clean room, on the small side but what you would expect with the room descriptions. Quick check in. Lacking tea/coffee and pens etc from rooms which would have been nice."

"I have stayed at the HI Bloomsbury many times. The hotel is newly renovated, the breakfast is always outstanding and the location can’t be beat. But the personnel are the real reason I keep returning. Lita in the breakfast room, John Paul and all the reception staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. You can’t go wrong by staying at the HI Bloomsbury!"

"Great location, but if you have mobility issues, this is not the hotel for you. There is no elevator (lift) in this hotel which we were not aware of at the time of booking. It's a very cute hotel and if we were younger, we would have thought it was great. Our bathroom/shower were down several stairs within our room. Again, very neat, but not practical at all for us. Staff were excellent and did a great job - very responsive to our needs. "

"I struggled to rate this hotel fairly. It is a nice hotel. The rooms are clean. The location is perfect. It is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and about a 20-minute walk to most theaters. The reason I won’t stay here again is that the walls are paper thin. I could hear every conversation in the room next to us, and it seemed as if they were speaking in a “regular” volume. We could hear every room in our vicinity’s doors closing in the hallway. Also no air conditioning so you will most likely need to sleep with your window open. One night, there was a car alarm that went off for a long time. The hotel does leave ear plugs next to the bed, so I am sure they are aware of this issue."
