"Unique Quirky Modern Stylish Hotel Experience"
I enjoyed the use of technology. The wake up call appeared on the TV. TV controlled via iPad, Good selection of TV channels. Mood lighting changes bathroom colors across a rainbow hue. Room is adequately sized. Not too small. Comfortable bed arranged wall to wall against window. Shades controlled via iPad. Check-in was fast and via lobby computer screens. Lobby bar and restaurant had a modern club-like feel with cute seating and pillows. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Lots of locals newspapers for reading pleasure. Free minibar offered two waters, two soft drinks and snackbars per day. Bankside located was a few blocks from Southwark tube stop. Also, easily got to Gatwick by walking to London Bridge train station in The Shard for train service. Borough Market just a few blocks away. Free wifi.

"great location"
A weekend birthday surprise for my wife. which included afternoon tea at the Ritz, the St James Hotel & Club was ideally situated. Great transport links -Green Park tube and the bus stop are just around the corner. Hotel staff were excellent throughout. Easy check-in and a comfortable room. We had breakfast in our room- it was delicious as well as ample. After an evening spent on an open top bus it was great to retire to the bar for hot chocolate and cookies.

I will definitely stay here again. They were very professional, rooms were lovely and well appointed. We left very early in the morning, and the front desk even put us in our car. This is a first class hotel.

"Gorgeous boutique hotel"
This hotel has been around for a good few years and I always meant to stay. A short trip to London became a perfect excuse and i booked into one of the single rooms, mine the contemporary on the 2nd floor. The room was compact, but perfect for one. Its an old victorian terrace, so dont expect a multimedia console at your bedside. My only minor grip was lack of sockets, so my phone ended up hanging out one at the room door. Food, staff, location and bar all amazing, Attentive yet discrete.

"Nice hotel in Kensington Area"
The Gore is conveniently located in the Kensington area near museums, Kensington Palace, Kensington gardens, and Hyde park. The hotel has comfy rooms, a nice breakfast, excellent coffee/tea, and a hopping bar popular with locals. Beds are extra comfy, bathroom amenities are good, rooms have a minibar as well and nightly turn down service. the hotel is historic and used to be the home of Judy Garland, there is still a Judy Garland suite with her original bed. The library has a nice fireplace to relax by at night.

I stayed overnight here for a friend's birthday trip to London. I was over the moon to find out they upgraded our room and it was amazing. The staff were lovely, including helping us with directions and printing off routes for us. Everything was clean, tidy and kooky. Will be back.
