"Tiny but clean room with a tiny bathroom on the top floor. This whole street has small, strangely named hotels in converted terraced buildings that were once private homes. It gives a strange vibe"

"The hotel itself was fine, bordering on excellent. But, - and it's a big but - something that always gets my goat, is excess heating that wouldn't turn off. So it's the hottest day of the year, 24 degrees, and the bathroom heating is on so much it's like a sauna in there. We call reception and get told there's a seperate control for that. Which there is, but that doesn't work. So reception guy says he'll get maintenance to turn it off. This is 2pm. We go out and leave it in their hands, get back at midnight, guess what the heating is still on full blast. Had to sleep with a window open in middle of city so then too noisy. This is completely crazy, waste of money (to the hotel!) And environmentally disgusting. And the cherry on top? The air con unit had been disabled...."

"From the main reception, to the lift, to the room, all areas were filthy! The room floors were grimy, the windows and mirrors were filthy and we couldn't open the bathroom door fully as it was obstructed by the bath. The only saviour for our stay was that the bedding and towels looked nice and clean (we noted that they were done by an outside laundry business) It appeared that the room next door was being used by a prostitute, due to the amount of comings and goings and noise from the room! The stay wasn't made any more welcoming when the fire alarm went off and the, I am assuming the manager, told his staff to "get them out of room 207 for smoking or call the police". This was said in front of many hotel guests, not very professional or discreet. Had it not been the London Marathon we would have tried to get another hotel, but all were fully booked locally. I would NOT recommend this hotel"

"The gold standard for customer service! We had an incredible stay and I cannot stress enough: this is the best customer service I have ever experienced. Every single staff member was friendly, but a special shout-out must go to Menino, Hebibeh, and Ati—they were simply excellent. As a vegetarian family, we were so impressed by the breakfast selection and how accommodating they were to our dietary restrictions. Beyond the basics of cleanliness and great facilities, the secured locker room for luggage was a huge plus for our travel logistics. The location is perfect: Convenience: Just a short walk to Hammersmith station (bus and train). Proximity: Only about 30 minutes from major London attractions. Safety: We felt very safe walking with our kids even as late as 10pm. Shopping: Everything you need is nearby, with Primark just steps away! I wish we could come back every year (if only Europe vacations were cheaper!). Highly recommended."
