"Staff overly questioning about our choice of room, the room was on a terrible position, noisy trains every few minutes till 2am then again from 5am, it was a very hot room, the air-conditioning didn't work and when you open the window the noise was even worse, the bed was very uncomfortable and gave a bad back pain"

"Where to start? Arrived at the hotel only to be told (like others) that I'd be staying at The Pearl down the road. Turned up and the staff seemed to be helpful and in good spirits. It was all down hill from here. - There is no lift and there are four floors. - The room is cramped. - The sheets are stained. - There was mould growing on the roof. - There was noise from the corridors all hours of the day - hotel is possibly being used as residential too. - Paint flaking off various places. Amenities? Do not expect... - Wifi. - Bedside reading lights. - Breakfast. - Shower gel. - Decent milk not UHT pods. All in all, you would be better off staying at a Premier Inn as it isn't that much more. Also - DO NOT USE EXPEDIA! They will not help and do not do much to resolve the situation after promising to no longer trade with the hotel in the future. "

"The staff was professional, welcoming, and friendly. The spa was fantastic with a great pool, the exercise facility was well equipped, and it was included in the price of the room. We enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet and happy hour in the bar and restaurant. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We had an extraordinary visit and look forward to our return. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend!"
