"Beautiful hotel one room was ready early, had a little wait for the 2nd room, we upgraded to the balcony suite rooms, it’s cheaper to do this via Expedia than direct with the hotel, which we did not realise Rooms are top notch, bar and restaurant are lovely, we had lunch and a couple of drinks before getting our room key, not realising you receive a 20% discount on food!! Lunch menu was very good plenty of choices and huge plates. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, would definitely stay here again "

"Beautiful old building, where Winston Churchill planned d-day. The room was spacious and the breakfast was above the expectations. The staff is very nice and pleasant. 7 minutes to two tube stations and very good bus number 9 in 1 minute walk."

"The location is good in terms of getting into central London with Hammersmith tube only a short walk. The rooms are really three star, basic with only a kettle and some water as frills. We did not find the bed too comfortable, and the bathroom looked like was due for upgrade. Breakfast was very good with a lot of quality ingredients and options. The lifts / elevators need attention with long waits and more than 5 people was an overload. Also getting in and out of the hotel was not straightforward, the lobby is on the first floor so you have to get a small lift up one floor. It would be better to have an escalator and is an obvious upgrade. Parking is £1.50 per hour with a code the hotel give you on checkout. I don't think for the price-point I will return, there are newer and better options available locally. "

"Room is small with 2 covered over windows so no daylight. Nothing like the rooms in the picture. Thankfully we were only here for sleeping & not a relaxing time."

"Room appeared OK on first walking in however the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the pillows were the most lumpy pillows I have ever seen - they must be many years old and are extremely uncomfortable. There was no soap available in the soap dispensers. There were white stains on one of the pillows and one of the duvets."

"The rooms were a good enough size, the bathroom smallish and serviceable for 1 person at a time. The windows open which was great since it was really warm. Apparently the hotel is set at one temp and you can’t change it so we were glad for the staff giving us a fan. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Central line ( which takes you to all the main places) The neighbourhood felt safe at night and there were many places to eat even later at night. The was also a huge mall a 5 minute walk away."
