Our room was big and we had a kitchenette which came in very handy for breakfast and lunch meals. We did not have a very big window or the best view but the skylight helped. The room was clean and the bed firm. The location of this hotel was excellent within walking distance to many attractions. If you get tired of walking the buses were a good option and many stops close by. I would highly recommend purchasing a oyster car to use the local transit.

"Great hotel. Close to everything you would like to"
Fantastic. Would have Loved to stay longer. Buckingham palace, Big Ben, etc. we're all within walking distance. I was able to see all the major sights in two hours of walking to them in a 20 minute walk.

The staff (and the heat!) was responsive to our needs. The food in the restaurant and the bar was delicious and most of it available through room service. We were very happy with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

We were in Edinburgh a few weeks ago for a weekend, this time I saw the offer for "mystery hotel" and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed the hotel was fantastic, the staff were very attentive, professional, the facilities were great we had a swim, sauna and used the steam room. The room was on the fifth floor so lovely and quiet, the breakfast was as good as we have had in any of the hotels we have been in. The hotel is within walking distance of city centre however the buses to the city centre pass the hotel. The area around the hotel is vibrant the pubs really good with traditional music on show, plenty of really good eating places too,all in all a great weekend will use the hotel again.
