The view is fab and they didn't mind checking us in at midnight after we had been to a festival
You have to accept the property is old and basic but relative to the price good value.
Value for money when you compare the hotel to other locations. Sure, the hotel is a little run down but that is reflected in the cost. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed my stay with this hotel. I would recommend the breakfast as it was delicious. I would most definitely ...
Friendly staff good parking. My dinner was very well cooked and delicious. Bedroom was spacious and clean
Croissants, fruits in the morning. Only negative ( may be just in my room ) the bathroom extractor fan which automatically turns on when light switches on sounds like a helicopter is landing on your roof. Full kitchenette in our room including washing machine and dishwasher 😁
Staff was OUTSTANDING. The room was very basic, and not very pleasing to the eye. The bed was comfy, and it was very clean BUT I felt a bit like in prison whilst in the room. It made me want to go downstairs and spend money at the bar. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh!
Great Art Deco style hotel, clean rooms and very helpful staff
Overnighting befire early flight from LBA NO hanging space but clean and adequate. Price good for needs. Would not use for city break as so little space to move round bed or snywhere to dress for 2 persobs.
Reception striking and good place to meet and city entre location useful
Yorkshire's rugged and beautiful landscape is perfectly suited to a great variety of outdoor and sporting activities. The deep river valleys that cut through the interior of the county are a magnet for white-water rafters, and hikers and climbers are attracted to the lower slopes of the west Pennines. There are walking trails right across the region, and the stately homes, ancient cities and traditional market towns that dot the landscape make any visit a delight. Stay at a West Yorkshire hotel and enjoy a whole range of outdoor pursuits like cricket and golf. If you're based in the Leeds area and enjoy listening to the pleasing clunk of leather on willow, be sure to visit Headingley Stadium, home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
Headingley is a suburb of Leeds, and the stadium here is a major showcase for local talent as well as home to the County Cricket Club. As well as cricket you can enjoy watching rugby matches here, as it is also home to the Leeds Rhinos (rugby league) and the Yorkshire Carnegie (rugby union) teams. With so many sporting tastes catered for, Headingley Stadium makes a great destination for an exciting day out from whichever West Yorkshire hotel in the neighbourhood of Leeds you happen to be based at.
The stadium actually consists of two distinct and separate grounds, with a common stand housing facilities for both. The Headingley Carnegie Rugby Stadium and Headingley Carnegie Cricket Stadium make attending a match convenient for enthusiasts of both sports, rather than them having to travel farther afield to attend matches. The stadium changed its name in 2006 to acknowledge sponsorship from the local Leeds Metropolitan University, which has a sports facility called the Carnegie School of Exercise and Physical Education. If you're based nearby at a West Yorkshire hotel or guesthouse, pop along here to attend a match or to take a tour. There are plenty of refreshments facilities both in the stadium and close by, and Leeds city centre is within easy reach too.
