We weren't able to check in until 4pm even though our confirmation said 3pm.when we returned at four there was a large queue coming out the door. The room itself was nice but very hot as the window could only openya fraction. Luckily we did have a fan which I requested in advance. The lift was in bad condition and should have been out of service as my husband tripped over as it didn't level to the floor..instead lf telling us before we went to the room we discovered there was no soap in the bathroom despite allbthe hand sanitizers around. Receptionists didn't seemed to be trained in customer service and seemed overwhelmed with the number of people and complaints. Don't bother to stay here.

The worst hotel I’ve ever staid in. It’s supposed to be a 4-star hotel and it’s much worse than many 3-stars. For starters, the room was boiling hot, the window barely opened and there was no air conditioning or even a fan in the room. There was damp on the wall. The only lift was not working so we had to go up and down 4 floors. And reception was so overwhelmed that we had to wait for them to confirm if the room was available and until 2am to finally get a fan. Avoid. Seriously. It will ruin your holiday.

    We booked a short stay and were not informed either when booking or checking in that there were no public areas in the hotel open for use. The dining room was closed and when we asked about breakfast we were told it would be available in a bag at reception each morning and we must take it to our room. All public areas including the bar were closed off and in a lounge area by reception which was also closed part of the ceiling plaster had fallen down and left on the carpet throughout our stay. The lifts we unavailable and we were allocated a room on the second floor [80 stairs] to climb which my wife found very difficult as she suffers form a problem with her hip. There was no room cleaning service available which given the current health situation was really unacceptable as the shower and toilet were not cleaned during our stay. The stairs to all floors were dirty with litter on the carpets which appeared to have been there for some time and overall the hotel was dirty and in poor condition. We understand that some restrictions are required due to Covid 19 but this hotel really should not be open given the overall dirty conditions and lack of service and amenities. Very poor value for money. We would advise anybody thinking of booking this hotel not to do so
