The Chicago Hotel Collection Ambassador Gold Coast

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (1013)
"We stayed for 4days/3nights. We were given a free King bed upgrade upon arrival. We were also given free
breakfast
and bar drinks vouchers for each day or our stay. Pretty good (free
food
). Very lovely/safe area. Took many late night walks around the area and 3-4 blocks down to Lake Shore Drive waterfront. Used hotel parking for $65.00 daily rate, parking is HORRIBLE in the Chi. Had a personal car but used Uber/Taxi. Great clean, safe, accommodating hotel! Would definitely recommend and...

Freehand Chicago

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (2020)
"Vibes VIBES VIBES!!! This property is hot, and full of characters. I stayed in a quad because I had a layover and didn't want to drop a ton of money for 8 hours and ended up having only none person in the room with me who was quiet. The bar and lounge area are so inviting for conversation and meeting people. Drinks are nice, the hotel has charm, cool vibes, and decor for a younger hip crowd, but I felt right at home!
Food
was good at the bar, and the portions are large enough! Would stay again...

Claridge House

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1247)
"The Claridge House may be my favorite of all the boutique hotels in Chicago. It's warm, welcoming, clean as a whistle. Most of the rooms are on the snug side; I know because I have stayed there eight or ten times. All the better. If you want a nice hotel in the prettiest and most quite warren of downtown Chicago, then chose the Claridge House. Lots of fine
restaurants
, parks and the lakefront of Chicago within walking distance. Same for the shopping in the Gold Coast."

"The hotel is in a very good spot downtown. I was able to walk almost every place i needed to visit. The room is a bit small. But it was just me so it's perfect for someone who's solo. The room was clean and the ac was good and cold! My room had a great city view, although it was a bit noisy for my liking. But overall i had a great stay, the staff was great also."
