"Having booked 2 Studio rooms I was disapointed to be told we had 1 double and 1 studio in separate buildings. What made matters worse was they are painting and my companion is allergic to the paint fumes. However we were both tired and just went to bed and made the best of things. This could/should be an excellent hotel but they need to communicate with guests to set expectations. My studio room at the back had a lovely view."

"This is our favorite hotel for our London stays. It's a boutique hotel in a great location - within easy walking distance from shopping, dining, the theater and so on. If you are looking for a modern, high end hotel and prefer a smaller, quieter place vs a large hotel, I highly recommend it. We have stayed at several of the larger luxury Knightsbridge hotels and keep coming back to the Halkin. "
