"Perfect location to Kensington Park"
It's across the street from Kensington Park/Palace and within walking distance to the River Thames and Big Ben via Buckingham Palace and Westminster Cathedral (about three miles). Breakfast is okay, there is a bar in the afternoon/evening, but Internet access is horrific if you need to use your computer; phone access was good, but not if you have to do any work, and it's only available in the sitting room next to the lobby. Limited restaurants in the area, so eat before you come back to the hotel.

"Small but clean and great value "
Ok so it's not a 5 star grandiose hotel. It is however a clean, comfortable hotel in the middle of London that is great value. Highly recommended.

"No-frills accommodations convenient to transit. "
This hotel is more than adequate for a stay in London. Great, friendly staff and convenient location to the London Underground, with stores and restaurants right nearby. Booking through Expedia includes many "extras" otherwise billed separately (wifi, tv, etc.). Housekeeping services are only provided once every three nights or so, and extra towels cost extra. There is air conditioning in the room, so that was an added bonus. Rooms could use more furnishings, and are small to American standards, but the room more than fit the bill for our vacation stay.

"Modern Hotel in London"
This is a relatively new hotel behind an old facade. The room I had was excellent - a narrow, long room with enough space, a well equipped bathroom which was modern and clean. Toiletries were good and there was a small refrigerator in the room - a real plus, air conditioning (a relative rarity in London at this price, and really necessary when it is hot - yes it does happen in London. I have been caught in a very small, extremely uncomfortably hot hotel room in London in the past, as London experienced a wave of hot days). Room servicing was very good. The hotel is walking distance to Paddington station - I used the Heathrow Express - and is about 2 minutes from Edgware Rd tube station. There are 3 supermarkets close by, the Marks and Spencer foodhall is just across the road. The area has some good pubs and lots of restaurants, with many middle-Eastern ones. The area is not as genteel as, say, kensington or Bloomsbury, but it is interesting and safe, and you are only a tube's ride from other parts of London. A walk down to Little Venice is worth it o a nice day. Breakfast can be bought at the attached Costas coffee shop - part of a chain, but there are other places close by. The hotel is recommended.

"Great location for sightseeing"
I had read some mixed reviews regarding the Gresham Hotel, but decided to give it a go as I was looking for a two night stay in a twin room with en-suite. I'm glad I did as it was a lovely stay from start to finish. The hotel was easy to find as it's just minutes from Paddington tube and train station, as well as having good bus services nearby, including the hop on/off tour service which I highly recommend if you want to see the sights but can't walk great distances. We were met by a lovely receptionist who check us in quickly and efficiently, giving us great ideas of places to visit/how to get there, telling us about the hotel breakfast (which included cereal, toast, cooked breakfast and was good for £5 each, saving time in the morning having to look for somewhere else to go). Our room was on the second floor which was easy to get to with the lift or stairs and was very clean, tidy and bright with the beds being made beautifully, with extra bedding in the wardrobe. There was a kettle so we could make hot drinks and the room was cleaned everyday. The bathroom included a shower, toilet , basin, fresh towels and soaps/shampoos etc, and although a little small was perfect for our needs. We had a good wi-fi connection as I noticed there was a router on every floor and there was free-view in the bedroom. The staff were all very lovely and friendly and all in all we had a great stay, and will be coming back again.

"Convenient hotel Close to Paddington Station."
Good location, clean room, noisy from the street and current renovation. Same breakfast every morning, absolutely always the same, it could use a little variety. No internet even if you pay. And you pay by customer, not by room. Hey people, it's the 21st century and we want to stay informed!

"Nice neighbourhood. "
Excellent location. For what we paid, it was a great spot. The room and bathroom were mostly clean and the staff were fine. If you are looking for a cheaper spot then I think this is a good choice because the room was pretty good and the bed was very comfortable.

"Good Hotel in central location"
Rooms are small but well set out with everything needed for a short stay in London. Close to everything and an excellent breakfast. If you had a lot of luggage it may not be the best choice, but all rooms are small in this price bracket. Very clean and well maintained. Also has air conditioning which is a plus in hot weather. Great hotel with friendly helpful staff

"Very reasonably priced"
Nice hotel, close to Paddington Station. Hotel staff is considerate and helpful. Hotel lobby could use some new paint but my room was in great condition. and the wireless network doesn't work on the upper floors.
