Arrived at the hotel which is situated in a great place in Paddington a couple minutes from the tube station. Once there there a lovely male staff member that attended to me providing me with a clean well room. I was informed that breakfast is from 06:30 - 08:30 which meant I had to rise early on a weekend to have breakfast across the road. Not great if you desire to lay in. As the TV didn’t work I went over and asked the receptionist who was a male to look at my TV which he did but there was still a problem with it. On returning the second time I was directed to the owner of the hotel who when I spoke to assertively proceeded to shout with an aggressive tone become quite defensive about my complaint. This was abusive and totally disgusting and unacceptable behaviour. The male receptionist that gave me my room key looked awkward and shocked at this woman’s response. This literally left a bad taste in my mouth and spoilt my entire day resulting in me deciding to leave London that very same evening Which meant I paid for two nights but stayed for one. On leaving nothing was said, no apologies for the TV not working and the owner and whom I presume was her daughter the manager never said a word. They took the key and that was it. Never ever will I stay in this hotel again. There are others for the same price in just as good a location. On the breakfast timings, room across the road, abusive customer service I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Breakfast from 6.30 yo only 8.30 is not long enough.Most people only arrive in the last half hour and since the dining room is small that leads to over crowding.The dining staff also do not seem to realise that if you are there by 8.30 you are entitled to ask for more coffee at 8.45.

Super reception, help with car parking. Nice and clean with an excellent breakfast. We will use this hotel when we next visit London.
