"We were given a larger room when Mrs Chan saw the size of our luggage. Very well appointed- even a bath. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was simple but very adequate with hot and cold options. Good quiet location close to trams and trains. "
"Stayed for 4 nights with work and enjoyed the new furnishings, the shower was hot and powerful, the bed comfy with plenty of pillows.
Everything you needed for a pleasant stay"
"Great stay. We were only there one night but we will definitely be back. Lovely building and the rooms are huge, everything is so carefully thought out. We loved the honesty shop and breakfast, and my daughter loved the little toy area. "

Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile
10/10 Excellent
"The Royal Mile has become a zoo, but it's also the spine of Edinburgh (literally), and so a hotel on an extension of the Royal Mile that's both centrally located and not quite so frenetic is a great compromise. The service was very good, the rooms clean, and the cooking facilities and full-size fridge meant we ate out when we wanted to, not because we had to. The included breakfast was about average (please find a better supplier for the consistently stale pain au chocolat!) but filling, and we found everything easily walkable, from the castle to Arthur's Seat (okay, climbable) to the Water of Leith. I'd happily stay here again if we return to Edinburgh."
"The hotel is probably priced as a cheap option but it is anything but! It’s about a 15 min walk to the city. 2 modern art galleries on its doorstep and a scenic walk from the river leith. As for the actual hotel it’s amazing!! From management to housekeeping, maintenance and front of desk and obviously the bar staff 😊 are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life and they go out and there way to help. Can’t thank them enough for making me feel loved "
"Convenient for airport location. We arrived late at night after a long day of travelling. We were so hungry and pretty sure the kitchen was closed but they made us a cheese pizza and served us a drink as we hadn’t eaten all day. Friendly staff and nice comfortable room. "
"Great experience with the staff and concierge. Room accommodation was terrific and the location of the hotel is perfectly situated in the “old town” area so is convenient to the Edinburgh Castle, restaurants and shopping. If returning to Edinburgh, we would definitely stay here again."
"Anastasia, the front desk manager was outstanding! She helped us tremendously when booking day trips. She gave us incredible advice on delicious restaurants. Highly recommend. We also use the spa service and it was lovely. It is very convenient. Bus stops right outside the door of the hotel. Walkable to the Royal Mile. "
